Student Success Update: Placements at Deloitte + transitions into Cyber Security
More diverse successes this week from our students at Learning People – with a huge number of project management certifications achieved and Career Services working their magic to help graduates realise their potential in the working world.
Big congratulations to Alex – who always had a passion for coding and decided with guidance from our expert consultants that cyber security would be a great career pathway for him to pursue.
Prior to studying with the Learning People, Alex primarily worked as a freelancer – but now has secured a permanent role as a software engineer with the promise to move into security.
Alex was a little concerned about re-training, however after working closely with our StudentCare™ and Career Services teams, found the confidence to start his new career.
ChangYong had some previous experience working within Project Management overseas – and had worked in a number of different countries across South East Asia.
After moving to Australia he was finding it challenging to find a role within the project management industry. But after speaking with Learning People he realised that gaining industry certifications was the most effective way to validate his skills and experience.
He is now working as a Construction Project Manager in Melbourne.
Martin was working as both a freelancer and contractor due to Covid, with previous experience of Project Management. However, he was facing challenges in gaining work due to the lack of qualifications. He decided to upskill and gained his PRINCE2 certifications and now has gained a permanent role back as an IT Project Manager.
Well done to all our students who are realising their potential with education – and don’t forget to stay up to date with all the latest Learning People student successes by bookmarking this page.
