Key responsibilities of an ethical hacker:

Audit and perform security tests on current networks

Report on vulnerabilities and provide recommendations in securing systems

Analyse security policies and make suggestions on improvements

Maintain all security tools and technologies

Work with senior stakeholders to improve company processes

The current national average salary for a cyber security specialist is $200,000.

An ethical hacker is an engaging and lucrative role. The need for people with these skills is growing, so you’ll be in high demand across multiple industries. There are often opportunities to work remotely or from home, with plenty of opportunities to travel. Because global corporations hire for this role, you’ll have the chance to work for some of the world’s most well-known companies.
