Founded in 2006 by Jay Bavisi, the EC-Council were formed to ensure that the information security community had the correct tools to defend, protect and respond to the growing number of cyber attacks.
Working with researchers and subject matter experts around the world, the EC-Council initially launched their flagship certification the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) – and to date now have technical security certifications that are trusted by Microsoft, IBM, and the United Nations.
EC-Council meet the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) certification standards and have also achieved CREST equivalency with their EC-Council Security Analyst (ECSA v10) qualification.
