How much can I claim?
There are two tiers of funding. £1,000 and for those with eight years or more of service up to £2,000 per annum. 

Are there any other criteria?
Only service accumulated since 1st April 2000 may be counted as eligible service, for the purpose of the ELC Scheme.

How often can I claim?
You can make one claim per financial year (three claims in total).

How Do I Claim?
You must complete an online claim and submit to your Education Staff a minimum of 25 working days prior to your course start date.

How do I activate my training?
On receipt of your Claim Authorisation Note (CAN) from the Education Staff, you must present it to the Learning People and we will register you on the course.

What happens if I have already left the service?
Please read this document before submitting a claim to your Single Service Representative. Once eligible to claim you may submit a claim up to five years (if you left on or after 1st April 2016), or up to ten years (if you left before 1st April 2016) after you leave the service.  Please read JSP 822 for the expiration date of your claims, particularly in respect of those service leavers who were medically discharged.
