2022 Student Success Update | Monday August 22

Welcome to the Learning People Student Success update for 22 August 2022 – our regular weekly round up previewing a selection of up to the minute successes, including exams sat, certifications gained, interviews attended, and new positions attained.  

 

IT and Cyber Security

Paul is working for the Civil Service in a Cyber Security role within the Operations Team.

After being a customer sales advisor and joiner for 15 years, Petru secured his first IT position. He will be starting as an ICT Technician with Helsby High School in September, which he is delighted about.

Yasmin has secured not one but two offers, despite being very poorly over the past few months. One is for Little Fish Cyber Services, the other is for the cyber security team at Inzpire, which is set up by ex-military and involves lots of travel which appeals to her.

 

Project Management

Olajumoke has secured the role of Operations Coordinator for Bolt, Jim has started as a Project Manager and PMO Consultant for Methodology Man, and Katy has been offered a position as Global Mobility Coordinator with Caesium Group, but she is interviewing with NHS at the moment and hopes to accept their offer if given.

Serena has officially been offered a position as IT Project Coordinator with Insight. Serena has been diligent and hard-working from the get-go with Career Services advice, and has been told by her company that she can progress into IT if she wants to, which she is excited about.
