2022 Student Success Update | Monday August 29

Welcome to the Learning People Student Success update for 29 August 2022 – our regular weekly round up previewing a selection of up to the minute successes, including exams sat, certifications gained, interviews attended, and new positions attained.  

 

IT and Code

Josh has been offered his very first role as Software Engineer with SPARTA Systems, after just one successful interview with the company. He found this role by connecting with one of our past success stories, Stuart Raynor, on LinkedIn and asking how he approached the job market.  Josh is delighted and will be starting to learn Java coding in the upcoming weeks as part of an 8-week programming academy.

 

Reece has accepted a trainee position as Tech Trainee with Futureproof, after completing his 4th coding project; he will be getting involved in multiple areas of the team and hopes to be exposed to cloud technologies.

 

Project Management

Katy has accepted her second job offer this month, which is a 6-month maternity cover role as Project Coordinator for the Business Development team within the Strategy and Planning department of her current NHS trust, LUHFT. She has been given a salary of £27K, which is exactly what she had hoped for, and she is excited to work with some familiar faces along the wards.

Sandra has moved into her second role since passing her certifications, as a PMO Analyst with the Project Foundry in Dublin.

Damilola has been offered and has started a position as Operations Control Room Coordinator with DHL, which has allowed her to start managing smaller projects and data within the office – she is very excited and loving her work so far.
