2022 Student Success Update | Monday December 19
Welcome to the Learning People Student Success update for the week commencing 20 December 2022 – our regular weekly round-up previewing a selection of up-to-the-minute successes, including exams sat, certifications gained, interviews attended, and new positions attained.
IT
Abdullah has started a new role as IT Systems Administrator for Sprung Studios after working as a Technician at Brighton College.
Having moved to the UK from Nigeria and working 1.5 years as an IT Specialist with Birmingham Commonwealth Games, Francis has now become a Cyber Security Consultant for Resevere. All thanks to passing his CISA, CISSP, and Doctorate in Cyber Security this year.
Code
James has become a QA Engineer for IBA Group, and Mihaela has had 2 offers of work. She has been busy gaining work experience as a Junior Software Engineer with a small start up called The Sound Site, where she is working with 2 other developers, using React and JS. She was also offered a position as Junior Developer with a company called Digital Futures.
Project management
Super talented Dilly has numerous certifications and is working with Infosys. She has a background in IT Consulting, project management, and is now studying Business Analysis with us + learning Java. She is on a training programme but being paid by Infosys and will soon start working on a project with them.
Myles has secured a job as a Project Engineer for Turnbull Infrastructure, and Pip has secured a contract as Programme Manager for the QSS Group. Ayo has become a Monitoring and Planning Coordinator with GRIDSERVE Sustainable Energy, after 8 months as a Project Professional Graduate.
