2022 Student Success Update | Monday November 7

Welcome to the Learning People Student Success update for the week commencing 7 November 2022 – our regular weekly round-up previewing a selection of up-to-the-minute successes, including exams sat, certifications gained, interviews attended, and new positions attained.  

 

IT and Cyber Security

Stuart has been promoted from SOC Analyst to SOC Engineer in just over a year at Just Eat.

Jack joined M247 just under a year ago as their Security Engineer and quickly progressed to designing and building their security. He has been recognised for his work and has just been promoted to Security Architect. 

Goran is now working with MF Services as a Network Administrator & Controls Engineer. His previous Network Administrator role was shift work based – whereas he now has weekends off and flexible working hours giving a much stronger work-life balance. The company gave him a week off to do his Security+ exam which he passed recently.

Adrian has career changed from being a Head Barista to a Cloud Support Analyst with Reed. Adrian will get to work on Support activities for Azure services.

Philip has accepted the position of Junior Cyber Security Manager with Security HQ based in London where he has been put into a structured programme to become Manager within 18 months.

 

 

Project Management

Michael is now working as a Design Engineer for British Aerospace.

Matthew has moved from Birmingham City Council as Senior Project Officer to Project Officer with MBDA.

Code

Michael has been promoted from Junior Developer to Software Developer after only 3 months at At The Races (Sky Sports Racing).
