2022 Student Success Update | Monday October 24

Welcome to the Learning People Student Success update for the week commencing 24 October 2022 – our regular weekly round-up previewing a selection of up-to-the-minute successes, including exams sat, certifications gained, interviews attended, and new positions attained.  

 

Project Management

Jed has been offered the position of National Manager (UK & Ireland) for the Balboa Water Group, where he has been offered 42K to manage their European vendor relationships in Denmark and France and is set to look at how they can expand into different markets over the upcoming years. He was truly delighted with the support he got from Career Services as he had been unemployed. Once he got his CV checked over, he got asked to interview with 3 different companies within 1 week.

Sadia has received an offer as Sales Programme Training Manager with Buhler Group in Switzerland. She will have minimal responsibility on training, and more focused on creating a newly fledged Training Programme for the EU-based offices for incoming sales professionals. She has been offered 51k with the strong probability of going into a more senior Project/Product Manager roles in the next 12 months.

Mary has joined LexisNexis Risk Solutions as a Project Manager. She has just completed a year with Sipcom where she was promoted to Senior Project Manager within 8 months.

Florence has just started with a company called Edelman as a Junior Project Manager.

Rory has been promoted from Customer Service Manager to Operations Manager at Morrison’s.

 

 

IT and Code

Rian has just secured a Front End Developer role with E!

After spending a year as a Junior Information Security Analyst with Cutover, Dominic has now joined DC Thompson as a DevSecOps Engineer.

Emmad is now a First Line Support Analyst with CloudCoCo, which is a nice change from his previous role at McDonald’s.
