2022 Student Success Update | Monday September 26
Welcome to the Learning People Student Success update for the week commencing 26 September 2022 – our regular weekly round-up previewing a selection of up-to-the-minute successes, including exams sat, certifications gained, interviews attended, and new positions attained.
IT and Cyber Security
After 5 months of experience in a 2nd Line Support Analyst role, Hayden has made a side-step move to become an Associate DevOps Engineer role at Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions.
Callum is career changing from the Army, joining Lenovo as a Junior Infrastructure Engineer which he achieved via Networking.
Jasmine landed an interview and after 2 rounds got the job as a Junior IT Technician for Little Dot Studios.
Cai has begun his first-ever position as Software Developer with Continuum Media after passing his CySA+. He has worked for 6+ years in IT and Development for a small-scale company based in Wales.
Project Management
Daniel has been offered a position as Associate Project Manager with IQVIA, where he will be able to work fully remotely. Having previously been employed as a Lab Manager at Randox, he will be working on similar clinical projects. His new role comes with lots of benefits, and an initial salary of 39K.
Nicholas is now a Project Manager with Pandolfo Design and Build inc. This role will give him PM experience in a new area of Construction and Design Project Management, and it is based locally to him in Italy, allowing him to also see his children more.
Dylan has accepted a job as Project Support Analyst for Gallagher.
Sharn has made an internal move from Merchandiser to the Business Transformation team. Leveraged by her certifications, she negotiated an incredible salary progression from 30K to 35K upon the completion of her probation period. Once she has completed her certifications she will move up to 40K, with the promise of 45K after her subsequent probation periods, meaning she negotiated a 15k increase over the space of 12 months.
