2023 Student Success Update | Monday February 06

Welcome to the Learning People Student Success update for the week commencing 06 February 2023 – our regular weekly round-up previewing a selection of up-to-the-minute successes, including exams sat, certifications gained, interviews attended, and new positions attained.  

 

Project management special…

Geeta enrolled with Learning People in March 2021 and has now secured her third new role with ongoing support from Career Services. During this time her salary has doubled. Having spent last year as a Project Manager in the Ministry of Justice – Geeta will now use her public service knowledge in a Bid Consultant role with BidCraft who assist organisations in Public Service tenders and IT Projects. This connection was made possible by BidCraft being one of techUK’s 800+ members that Learning People showcase students to.

 

Caroline has now completed her Change Management certifications and landed an exciting internal opportunity at Waitrose, where she has worked as Branch Manager for almost 25 years. Her new certifications have enabled her to secure a 10-month secondment role as Change Adoption Senior Implementation & Insight Manager which means a change from managing 200 people to now working from home on this project with 18 others.

Susan has just been offered and accepted the role of Assistant Project Manager with Mott Macdonald. This is a result of her networking prowess and being put forward for the job.

 

 

Claire has just secured a Programme Analyst role with Single Vehicle Design and Samia is now working as an Assistant Project Coordinator with Infrastructure Gateway. Andre has joined RIIS in Denmark as a Project Manager managing international fit-out projects in construction & retail environments – and Poppy’s career changed 5 months ago from Area Manager for Molton Brown to Project Manager for Jacobs.
