2023 Student Success Update | Monday February 20

Welcome to the Learning People Student Success update for the week commencing 20 February 2023 – our regular weekly round-up previewing a selection of up-to-the-minute successes, including exams sat, certifications gained, interviews attended, and new positions attained.  

 

Project management

Stuart has been offered a Project Management Technician position with the construction machinery group, Caterpillar, and starts in March.

Debbie has secured the role of Customer Relationship Management Specialist with Barchester Healthcare.

Rory who has already progressed with Morrisons from Customer Service Manager to Operations Manager now starts his new role with them as a Project Manager.

Andrew who is now PRINCE2 and APM certified, has been offered the position of Advisor for the Environment Agency, working on their Risk Management programmes.

 

Code

James has now completed the Diploma in Full Stack Software Development and has successfully changed career from Hospitality and Retail to code as a Junior QA Engineer with Lumi Global.

Leah has now joined Nationwide Building Society as a Junior Data Engineer.

 

 

IT

Rene is now working as an Information Technology Support Engineer with Circet IT Services, where he has been working for over 4 months and is really enjoying his new job after completing the CompTIA N+.

Giles has now had his second interview with Cyber Security specialists FoxTech and has been offered the role of Junior Cyber Security Engineer largely thanks to his LinkedIn profile and presence.

Mark has landed the role of InfoSec Consultant with iStorm following multiple interviews with competing organisations. This new role provides Mark with a 7k salary increase + funding for his ISO27001 Auditing course & exam.
